Shipping Time
Most orders received and approved before 10:00 a.m. Central Time will ship the same business day, provided all items are in stock. Most orders received after 10:00 a.m. Central Time will ship the next business day.
Orders are not normally processed or shipped on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays unless prior arrangements have been made.
Shipping weights and dimensions may not be available when the order is initially placed. Final shipment weights and dimensions can be provided once the order has been fully prepared, packaged, and is ready for shipment.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight, dimensions, destination, and selected shipping method. For domestic orders, available calculated shipping options may be selected during online checkout.
Online shipping calculations are currently unavailable for international shipments. Please contact our customer service team for an international shipping quote.
Hazardous Materials and Cold Shipments
Hazardous materials, dangerous goods, refrigerated products, and dry-ice shipments are subject to additional handling and packaging fees. These charges may be invoiced separately. Please contact customer service for an estimate.
Current minimum fees include:
- Domestic hazardous materials fee within the continental United States: $50 per order
- Refrigerated packaging: Minimum $45 per box
- Dry-ice packaging: Minimum $60 per box
- International hazardous materials: $125 for the first UN number and $40 for each additional UN number or box, as applicable
Additional carrier, documentation, packaging, or regulatory fees may apply depending on the product, shipment method, and destination.
Customer Pickup
Customer pickups are available from our warehouse in Houston, Texas. Pickup arrangements must be coordinated with our customer service team in advance.
For international pickup orders, the following fees may apply:
- Shipper’s Letter of Instruction (SLI): $35
- Export-compliant pallet: $50 per pallet
- Certificate of Origin with Chamber of Commerce stamp: $80
- Mailing original documents to the destination country: $100
Final shipment weights and dimensions can be provided after the order has been packaged and is ready for pickup.
For cold-shipment pickups, the buyer or freight forwarder must bring an appropriate cooler and the required ice packs or dry ice at the time of pickup.
For hazardous-material pickups, Pacific Star Corporation is not responsible for hazardous-material packaging, labeling, declarations, or transportation documentation required by DOT, IATA, the carrier, or other regulatory authorities. The buyer must arrange these services directly with a qualified freight forwarder or carrier.
Certificates of Conformance
A Certificate of Conformance issued by Pacific Star Corporation may be provided upon request. The certificate will confirm that the products supplied conform to the applicable purchase order, product description, part number, and documentation available to Pacific Star Corporation.
A manufacturer-issued Certificate of Conformance, Certificate of Analysis, or other manufacturer documentation is subject to availability and must be specifically requested before the order is placed. Requests that are not confirmed or acknowledged in writing are not guaranteed.
International Pickup Terms
All customer pickups are Ex Works (EXW) from our warehouse in Houston, Texas. Once the goods are made available for pickup and leave our warehouse, the buyer assumes responsibility for freight, insurance, export clearance, import clearance, duties, taxes, regulatory compliance, and transportation to the final destination.
The buyer is also responsible for selecting a qualified freight forwarder and ensuring that all shipping, export, hazardous-material, cold-chain, and destination-country requirements are satisfied.
